We are in the midst of a snow storm here in Southern Ontario. Yesterday the table you see in the photograph below was clear of snow - I went out to feed the birds and swept the snow away in the morning. This morning at 6:30 I went out to feed the birds again, and the snow was beginning to build up.
It isn't all that cold - but we've decided to stay inside and hibernate and read and watch movies.
I got Horace Kephart's Camping and Woodcraft - A Handbook for Vacation Campers and for Travelers in the Wilderness in the mail the other day. It was first published in 1917 but remains timeless - it is a great read. I will review it in time - volumes 1 and 2 comprise over 850 pages - so it'll take me a while to digest it all.
So I will sit with my breakfast of toast and jam and begin reading.
Raspberry jam.
4 slices of toast.
Hope you're having a good weekend.
Cheers,
Mungo
